How I Started: I enjoyed lifting for about 6 months when I was in my twenties.

I was losing weight doing the Adkins program so I thought it would be good idea to start lifting since I was eaing alot protein. I was doing the max-ot program and was having pretty good gains strengthwise. Not alot of size, but I think that had more to do with the lack of carbs. A couple of years ago I went to see a local strongman competion and wanted to give it a try.
Why I Love It: I like getting stronger and maintaining my strength. Now I want to use the principles of bodybuilding to lose alot of the extra weight.
How I Stay Motivated: I want to be better at strongman events and want to look alot better.

Goals:
Main Goal: Lose Fat
Goal (Short): Lose fat and keep the muscle I currentlly have.
Goal (Long): I want to be able to overhead press a 250 lbs. steel log, load a series of atlas stones with the last one being over 300 lbs. I'd like to be able to complete medley events without feeling like I'm going to hurl. I also want to just be in an overall better condition and looking good without my shirt on. I'll accomplish this in the next 12 months, some before the other's for sure.
