I used to not be able to do a single pushup. It's all about shoulders. It doesn't matter how strong your arms are, if your shoulders aren't developed there isn't much upper body strength.

I've been practicing on my b/f. I know it's not the same as a competetive match, but I'm getting better and more comfortable with holds. Don't know if I would beat ya, but certainly would make you work for it. ;)

It's going. Right now going heavy with pushups. Average workout with that consists of 12 different types of pushups, max reps each. Right now my total varies between 110 to 160 pushups. Wish I had that progress with wrestling. Still can't find another woman to wrestle! Phoenix is just dead for that it seems.

Sounds great! Glad you can find matches. I sparred with my b/f the other day and I think I really hurt him. At first he was just toying with me, but after I got on top he realized I meant business. I guess I got my a new special hold, a reverse sleeper that puts a lot of pressure on the back of the neck. He tapped out within 5 seconds! He's 6'1 and 220 lbs. If I can make him tap, I think I'm ready for a girl vs girl! LOL

I have a wrestling match scheduled with a girl next weekend. She's smaller then me, but knows wrestling. It'll be my very first match! Can't wait to tussle!
