I want to look at myself and be proud of all of the hard work I have done.
Goal (Long):
I have not set any specific goals so far. I know I need to though because it's motivating to set goals and then reach them. I have been working out for over a year but have not been watching what I eat. Although I have seen results, I know that a proper diet would do nothing but maximize my results. I have an extremely high metabolism and do not do cardio, but I know the things I put in my body are doing nothing but hindering me. I have decided that I need to buckle down and get truly serious if I want to see real results. As of yesterday, 9/14/09, I threw out all of my junk food and am starting new. Any tips, advice, or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I LOVE food so this is definitely going to be a struggle for me. Wish me luck! :)
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I injured my lower back while doing hack squat. It was hurting while I was doing the exercise but I just kept going. I couldn't do legs or anything heavy for a few months but I'm just getting into lower body again. Still hurts when I do squats though.I injured my lower back while doing hack squat. What is the best type of protein for you?
Whey Protein
Why is this type of protein best?
It's the only kind I have taken, but I know I need to start taking casein at night.

Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
No
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I just have a notebook that I write everything in while I'm lifting. I get funny looks sometimes but I don't care. It works for me.
Ha...it's my own fault. I made a decision to track all my meals in my new "diet" and now I'm just going to embarrass myself. But...maybe this will teach me to eat better.
Well, you have to get the school work done. Sounds like you're really itching to get in there! I'm doing great, stepping up my running to aid in fat burning.
One of my co-workers who does "rescue" gave me some treats on Friday for my Shayla. So, asides from feeling threatened by all the knocking on our front door, my pup had a great Halloween! Keep on smiling!

Hoping you are all ready for All Hallow's Eve? Shayla-pup very much thanks you for the compliment and would love to eat your leftover treats!

Exercise science? That sounds cool enough! Does the GNC thing help with the personal training, as far as suggesting a supplement regimen goes? Are you hooked into a fitness club for the trainer or are you doing it solo?
I always feel like a slug when i don't maintain the workout schedule, so I know exactly what you mean. I just came off a two week break (had to give the bones a break!) and I'm back on it. What's your area are you focusing in at school?
