Overall Goal: Now: Bulk. Living on campus is pretty hard to bulk and stay on the plan w out running out of money. the all you can eat hall is expensive too.... Train hard and keep making gains. Just busted through a weight and strength plateau so Im motivated more
Fit Status:
Thinking about yoga in hopes to loosen up my hips for deeper squats and the view in yoga class. Fck the macho BS
My best friend and I left a "military" training program at Tech, it was a waste of a semester. Towards the end he ...dragged... me to the gym, but I liked the fast gains I was getting, the ones he promised. I had doubled my bench press in a month and finally got a little definition. I was the nutrition buff and helped him with that.
Why I Love It:
Me. I need something to keep me busy. I need something that will help me out later in life, and if I catch an eye or 2 in the process that doesn't hurt. I can go there any time I will know I came into the gym strong and confident and I left an even stronger and better person.
How I Stay Motivated:
Friends. Music. Memories. Anything can get me going. Friends are the biggest during the year. During summer music hits me hard and playing a little Tool gets my heart rate sky rocketing. I train FOR friends and family too. Ive never done anything athletic for a charity event or something, but in a year I want to do some kind of marathon. I lost my step father to cancer a month ago and Ive dedicated this year of training to him. Memories keep me motivated and keep me pushing till everything gives.
BB Accomplishments:
Haha, bodybuilding? The closest thing to that Is having my close friend as my workout partner, he finished 2nd in a competition in July of 09. As for me, well, hitting the gym harder than the guys pumping out huge weights is all I can say. All I have is conditioning on them, size is and issue so far.
Now: Bulk. Living on campus is pretty hard to bulk and stay on the plan w out running out of money. the all you can eat hall is expensive too.... Train hard and keep making gains. Just busted through a weight and strength plateau so Im motivated more
Goal (Long):
My main goal is pretty long term. I really dont know what health problems my family has had down the line, at all. My uncle recently died from heart problems and Im a little worried. I used to have hypertension but corrected that in my first semester at college. Health and fitness is extremely important to me. I want to be leaner and possibly bigger, but I want to make this machine last long overall. Physically, I want to be lean, much lower body fat than now. I want to be able to show my Dad that all this **** Im doing isnt a waste and If i can, get him motivated to do something. He's turning 42 and I want him to last a long time too. To do this I need to show him up a little maybe. I train hard and a lot has to happen for me to stop, I need him to do the same. Help me impress my Dad, friends and while Im at it everyone at college, while I secretly get to be healthy.
Youre incredibly dedicated to this man, its amazing to me. Hard work pays off w a little know how. Keep it up man, way to work your way down and to the front page of BB.com
Hopefully you can navigate through this and figure it out. I guess you can pretty much view what I've had to eat and what I've supplemented with as soon as I log it, any questions or issues let me know!

My caliper obviously is worth what I payed, nothing. Still using it to compare previous results, but I don't think I'm this lean... 6%bf?? (and I added 2mm to each measure...)
Took the first measurement after dinner, and had drank a lot of water, about 1/2 gallon maybe 45 min before I took the measurement the first time. The second measurement was after my workout, no cardio, but much less water resistance on the caliper I guess....
