How I Started:
Playing sports in High school got me started. Typical jock in school. I played football, wrestled, threw shot and discus, and was on our powerlifting team. Never left the school it seems. Went on to play college football at Auburn so they really beefed me up and since I am finished playing now I still lift. It became a way of life. Now if I could just lose some weight.
Why I Love It:
Makes me feel good. Love the feeling of a good work out. I feel like I've accomplished something and am not just a lazy bum. Plus I like being strong and looking fit for my size.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just love it. When I don't lift I just don't feel as good. I feel lazy and my body actually starts to ache.
BB Accomplishments:
None really, went to State in weightlifting in H.S. haha.

Goal (Long):
I've always been into working out. I mainly worked out to be big and strong and my need for being big no longer applies. I love being strong but I don't need to weigh 300 lb. anymore. I would love to have abs show once in my life so the ultimate goal is to drop 30+ pounds and hopefully get some abs. If I can do that even if they only show for a day, I'll take a picture so I have proof. Plus I just to improve my joint health. It would be a lot of pressure off the old knee pieces.
I think I underestimated how much surgery would set me back. I have dropped a bunch of weight but I think I also lost a lot of mass in my legs which sucks. The plus is I can actually find pants that fit now. Still have a little over a month of good hard training for this transformation. I'm...

I believe the body follows the mind. When I lift, I see how I want my body to be and I picture it becoming like what I see in my head...later it happens.
