One day I woke up and I suddenly had conditions that I never had before. I hate taking medication so I realized I needed to do what I could physically in order to change.
Why I Love It:
There is no better feeling than a good pair of jeans. On top of that I like seeing that surprised look on peoples' faces when they see how much I can lift.
How I Stay Motivated:
At first it was getting back at an ex that kept me motivated. Then it was staying out of the hospital because I was overweight and unhealthy.
BB Accomplishments:
Taking the first step... you have to start somewhere right?
My goal is to see what I look like at 220 lbs. which means keeping or gaining some more muscle and losing the fat.
Goal (Long):
I have always been the "big girl". At 6'3" I hide my actual 300+ lbs pretty decently, but I wasn't always this heavy and my body is starting to feel the pressure of all this weight finally. I don't want to just lose some weight and stop there. I love the way muscle feels and I want that back. I want to be able to buy clothes at regular stores instead of the plus size stores and feel confident about my body. I don't want anything to shake without my permission! I would like to be 220 lbs with 16% body fat and see what that is like for a while. I know it will take me a while to get there, but my bags are packed and I'm ready to move on from here!
So let's talk about what has actually happened here. Out of these twelve weeks... I think I fizzled out at about Week 7 or 8. Which considering I have the attention span of a flyswatter that is not too bad.
Highlights? I remember that I gained a little over 1lb of muscle during Weeks...
You are making good progress and while I don't know what program you follow I want to say that my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in just 12 weeks and I lost over 50 lb in the same time period on the Body for Life program. It is a 12 week body transformation program that really gets results. I don't know if you had heard of it but I wanted to mention it just in case. I would like nothing better than to see you achieve your fitness goals. Believe and Achieve!
C'mon girl, it's time to get busy and make ready for 2010. Are you gonna do it to it?

Progress pics B4 X-mas. This time, it's Legs! (but no, I ain't shaving...)
I just stopped by to wish you nothing but success as you work towards your fitness goal. Find a good exercise routine as well as a nutrition program that works for you and you will be amazed at what will happen. I look forward to watching your continuing progress. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Glad to see your smiling face!
Missed my workout last night (which was Spin). Tried to take a nap and slept right on through, guess I needed it.
Looking on the positive side,

How is your Training going? I am continuing to be "fired up;" no matter how tired I am or what I've done all day, I become a human piston when I'm at the gym. (and I haven't skipped a workout in over a week)

Good morning, my Friend! How are things going today? I have been dragging ass to the gym the last two nights, and let me tell you that beyotch is Heavy! Wanted to quit Fin-Swim before I even got to the 15 minute mark last night, barely managed to pull the 1/2 hour but I'm proud of that!

Very important: don't put too much on your plate. Sometimes it's best to just white-out the missed workout and move on to the next item. Many of us can load ourselves down too far, ending up "overwhelmed" and wanting to quit. Look at how slowly I've progressed compared to others, but I Still Got It Done!
Best!

Ah, but just like those cows putting up grafitti on billboards, it made you look!

(how is your day and what is up with your Training? I need more sleep and need to take it easy on the Calves while swimming tonight.)
