How I Started:
I've been working out for years, but pretty much all cardio and inconsistently. After having an eye - opening experience I decided I needed to get a regular work out routine and do some weight training to tighten up and get stronger. There's no better time than now!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good about myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at some of the awesome bodies and progress people have made on this site is very inspirational.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Jamie Eason!! I saw her picture and thought, that is what I want to look like!! She has an amazing physique but is still feminine. She's also 5'2" and her legs look a mile long and I'm 5'1" so I hope mine can look like hers someday.Jamie Eason!! I saw her picture and thought, that is what I want to look like!! Have you ever had a lifting injury?
No

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
My guess would be because they don't have proper form, they lift too much or they don't know what they're doing.
Much has happened since my last post. Actually, only one thing, but it was a big one. My boyfriend proposed to me!! I said yes of course once I stopped crying.
I didn't realize what a huge deal everyone would make out of this. Of course I'm very excited to be marrying him (the...
Thanks for the comment. I've done it twice so far. I bought when I got down to a four/six and then again at zero/two. I had to get everything even shoes as I dropped an entire size.
I still don't have any suits but finally got some fun dresses.

Thank you for reaching out to me, LK!! It means so much and I'm SO glad you are back!! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
If you would like to make your fitness goals come true and in the next 12 weeks I recommend you look into the Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 Lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the BFL program. It is not super easy nor is it so hard that you won’t be able to achieve your goals. We were amazed at the results and you may be too. Let us know if you would like more info.
Wanted to get the word out!! Been taking these new suppliments. Lot of people do not know about them yet. Go to www.zyleneshedsfat.com Order a bottle of Zylene. No JOKE!! The energy is incredible. Loss 35 pounds of FAT not muscle in 2 1/2 months. Been taking suppliments for a long time and these are unbelievable - AWESOME!
Oh...the Dark Side of shoes!! Once you go there you are forever doomed to impractical but irresistibly cute shoes! LOL I had some awesome sites to check out...will have to find them again and PM them to you.
Definitely good shoes - go to a specialty running store so you get one for your foot type and strike! Next thing I would suggest is good running clothes, especially socks - you want stuff to wick away off your body, not just wear cotton because that can cause a lot of chafing and blisters (especially on the feet!). If you tell me what you're currently running, I can throw out suggestions on a good schedule :)
My biggest advice is just get out there and embrace running. I really love my book Brain Training for Runners by Matt Fitxgerald. I had been doing pre-training for my marathon, trying to have good form, and trying to maintain a good attitude, when I stumble across his book which preached the same ideas, as well has had a lot of valuable information. In addition to the running schedule he has a cue to think about each week to work on your form. Good luck.
