When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
Slowly but surely, I am getting more and more inspired to better myself from the inside, out. I have found my strength in school and discovered just how much I am capable of mentally because I found that if I apply myself, I can succeed. I have been a dancer since three years old, and it is something I want to continue doing for the rest of my life. I lost my physical strength for the art after high school, and I long for the ability to do what I was once capable of during my competitive years. I need to get back into the shape that a dancer should be in, which is a long way away from where I am now, but I know it is possible because I was there once. My boyfriend is a constant reminder of strength and perserverence and everyday I am reminded that I am capable of accomplishing anything I want.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling after the workout when I feel accomplished. During the workout, when the feelings of "this is too difficult," and the intense burn through my body, I just want to stop. Then I think of how much more confident I will be and how proud I will be of myself when I completed that hour on the elliptical or one more rep than I did before.
How I Stay Motivated:
Take it one day at a time and keeping my eyes on the effects.
BB Accomplishments:

"To practice means to perform, in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired."-Martha Graham
I want to get my bodyfat percentage down about 10-12 percent. Increase my overall activity levels each day and build long, lean muscle. I have always felt I looked okay while onstage, but never had the ideal dancer's body. I am starting to realize that that is possible if I just put in effort and elbow grease. My mind set is there, but my actions are not living up to my words and thoughts. Now is the time that I stop talking and start acting. The gym is only 2 minutes away, and I have no excuse not to go. This is only the beginning.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 25 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
18%
