How I Started:
I used to live in residence at my Highschool. So everynight in grade 9, the freshmans would go train with the seniors. I'd go every week day, eventhough the results were not that great, I never stopped. I then started to use my training to improve my game (hockey) with a personal trainer. That's the first time I saw the difference with my teammates. But after three seasons of mixing up both, I realised that I put much more effort in my training than in my hockey. This is my first year concentrating only on weight training.
Why I Love It:
For me it's the best sport, because it's physically and mentaly challenging . When I train it's to forget everything that's going on in my life and just pumping that iron.
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching the best.I'm always one of the youngest in the gym so I like it when I'm bigger than older guys, or just more defined.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Me and my training partner no each other, everything is non-verbal, we know the program, the routines everything. Best thing.Great for friendly competition too.
