One day I weighed myself and I ballooned up to 125lbs, not a good thing when you're 5' tall with absolutely no muscle. I was unhappy with the way I looked and started working out. I quickly lost 15 lbs but was very inconsistant. It wasn't until I met my (now) husband that I became more intersted in the lifestyle. He's always been into bodybuilding which motivated me to start working harder. Through out the past 4 years my weight fluctuated between 93-105lbs. Sometimes I'd be really into working out and other times I'd just get burnt out and eat like a slob.
It wasn't until recently (shorlty after I turned 28) that I decided to really focus on fitness. I'm now almost a month into my new routine and the difference is amazing!!
Why I Love It:
It's such a stress release for me. I love seeing the results of the hard work I've put into my lifting and diet.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm lucky to have a super supportive husband that isn't afraid to ask: "do you really want to eat that?"
I also come onto Bodybuilding.com on a daily basis to see other people working just as hard as I am to achieve their goals.

Up to 8 pullups!! ...mid-section is still a work in progress... :/
Goal (Long):
My problem area (like most women) has always been my mid-section; this has a lot to do with my obsession with junk food. While I've always been able to slim down to achieve a "thin" look I'm focusing more towards gaining muscle and bringing out my inner six pack :) The difficulties lie with breaking old habits. In the past when I didn't like the "excess" I would focus on cardio, cardio, cardio which now (thankfully) I've needed to cut down. Now that I'm trying to achieve another look consistancy and patience is the key.
I'd also like to work my way back up to 10 full pull ups. I was able to do this prior to my surgery, which now was 2 years ago. At this time I'm able to achieve 4 full ones so hopefully with work and dedication I'll reach both of my goals :)
