Doctor said I'd never walk properly again if I didn't have a certain operation or train again way back when. I fell doing aerial on the balance beam..was weird, fell slow motion then SNAP!! Things happen.The doctors word that if I followed his rehab that my knee would be stronger than it ever was inspired me to train. In 1990 I started working out at the Gym of Seattle. Later with my renewed knees I broke world records in powerlifting, etc. I grew to love working out. It was meant to be. So here I am now making new paths not wanting to go backwards or live in the past. Working out is part of my renewal plan.
Why I Love It:
I like to be fit and strong and I love being in shape and strive to be in better shape and have a healthier body so I can play and have fun and enjoy life with the those I love.

How I Stay Motivated:
I'm taking then posting new updated progress photos today..a bit less than 12 weeks out of my next contest.
My passion keeps me going. My drive to win and be at my best, to do what others say I cannot, they don't know me. I'm driven to succeed in all I do and if at first I don't,I KNOW I will.
Good music to workout to motivates me.
My favorite workout CD is "LEGEND of the MASK& the ASSASSIN ....DJ MUGGS VS SICK JACKEN feat CYNIC. I listen to it on the way to work out and during. I need new CD though. Egyptian themes work for me too. Loreena McKennitt....Tupac
Pink's CD, Carmen Fantasie (Bizet), my tastes vary in music but I need it to workout to because most gym music is awful anyway. I stay motivated by believing that the best is yet to come. I know I "can" do what I set my mind to even if someone else says I can't. I just don't believe I can't do better.

Goal (Long):
I want an 8 pack, full strong biceps, big, thick sweeping quads and hamstrings, wide, rippled thick back,full thick calfs, strong chest, christmas tree, gorgeous shoulders, traps just right for me and overall a strong, muscular and sexy physique, not forgetting high, tight glutes all while staying flexible, youthful and energetic.
I want to have my mandatories down perfectly and have a beautifully choreographed posing routine with music and style that FITS ME nicely. Working out again brought back the joy I found when I first started lifting weights years ago. I've always done well at everything I set my mind to, whether it was good or 'bad'. I believe the body follows the mind and that if I did something once I can do it again and the results will be better than before. My last contest was a wake up call and I'm awake now and have been working hard so that the next results reflect the vision I've had and to make my bodybuildling dreams come true one day. Being of a flower, my name being Lilli, I have this condition..a need to blossom and I don't really think I ever have because of different circumstances which occurred in my life. I was directed to begin again in this sport, not told to but set in this direction. I'm going to go with this and give it my all, train like the boxer who's hungry and I am. I also want to thank my new sponsor who's behind me 100%. Those that know me know if I have that, that I produce 110%. I thrive on the support and positive feed back perhaps because for years I had the other. My world powerlifting records were not given to me. My days of being a sprinter did not teach me to merely try to cross the finish line. I'm not trying to just be on stage. Results will reflect my goals I'm hungry to achieve. I'm not worried about someone else and what they look like..I know if I bring MY BEST to the stage that it won't even matter and bringing my best means working harder than ever before at every detail. I thrive with the type coaching of the lone boxer and trainer verbally and mentally pushing me to a peaks daily not met before. Today is a new day with new circumstances present. The encouragement to succeed today is all I need...the will I already have. Flowers need watering and my garden needs tending to. Tend to me.

What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
Triple shot espresso instead of milk now or sugar, replacing that with flavored protein powder and cinnamon. Favorite is Dave Palumbo's Cherry Vanilla Isolyze with cinnamon. Yum.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I don't want anybody's body but my own to be strong and shapely with hard strong muscles and smooth silky skin glowing, full muscles, well balanced and proportioned for my physique, someone else's biceps on my long arms?? No. Someone else's legs on my hips? No. Someone else's shoulders replacing mine? Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
Which? There are so many with nice hard muscles, smooth clear skin, balance and proportion. Choosing one excludes the others I haven't even seen yet.

Why did you take such time off from competing? You look great in some of your past photos, and it looks like you haven't stopped working out. Also, are coming back as a middle weight?

Hi Lilli, since I first met you at last years Olympia and we got chatting about your plans to get back in shape and compete you have certainly stuck to your task.The results you have achieved are amazing in a really short time I am proud of you!
