How I Started:
I originally started lifting small dumbbells when I was thirteen. The lifting bug was passed on to me by my father. I responded quickly once I got to college. I have always been very strong for a female.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of accomplishment and power! I don't follow a traditional bodybuilding program necessarily, I enjoy being strong and fit, so I wouldn't waste time isolating my biceps for a half hour. I like deads,all types of squats, pullups, pushups, weighted dips, military presses, cleans,1 arm snatches, plyometrics, and core training.
How I Stay Motivated:
Changing my body, learning new training techniques, and just the way exercising makes me feel

Goal (Long):
I have always been very involved with individual exercise, such as dance and weight training. I always had more muscle than the other girls, but also had a lot more fat around my midsection. This has been a very frustrating shape and I constantly battle with it. The cursed apple shape makes life very difficult. I also suffered from severe ulcerative colitis, fibromyalgia, and multiple food sensitivities that prevented me from really eating the way I wanted to for seven years. Now, I am symptom free, and want to accomplish my goal. I want to compete as an amateur, drug free bodybuilder this year. I also want to improve my strength on squats, deadlifts, and pull-ups, power cleans, and military presses. These are my favorite exercises and are always an integral part of my training regimen.
