i just used a lower carb diet and had a refeed day every 3 days...i didn't lose a lot of my strength till about 4 weeks out...with any diet you're going to lose some muscle...however, the longer you diet (not crash dieting) the more mass you're going to hold onto.
I personally have never taken it, so i couldn't give you any feedback on those products. I first would get a good diet and a training program...then i would start throwing in supplements. I recommend a good protein and BCAA's such as Scivation Xtend. I think you'll find most others are disgusting. Don't waste your money on a ton of supplements just eat and train...Good luck
The Anabolic Pump / PSlin combination is excellent for retaining mass and strength while cutting. Just follow the directions on the bottles and eat accordingly!
