My trainer, Akweli Parker at www.musclefoundry.com is an excellent motivator. Seeing results. Seeing other ladies on this site going for their goals.
BB Accomplishments:
Passed my initial weight loss goals! On to new goals!!! Calves are peeking through...and I bought short-shorts! Haven't done that in almost 20 years!

Goal (Long):
to be able to maintain a fitness regime over a long term. i struggle with a multitude of hypothyroid symptoms. when it comes to working out and diet improvements i have always hit walls which point back to the condition. everything from illnesses, drinking green tea, eating soy, broccoli, cauliflour and flax seeds to taking my supplements/ meds and having interaction problems- all those things caused setbacks. it also causes fatigue and mild depression. so i joined a gym. i started in january, but had a big setback at the end of the month. the setback revealed more info that will contribute to my overall wellness. in february i hit the gym again, more fiercely than before armed with the new info. and i've made it a month and a half so far!

When I last blogged on the 13th, I had finally returned to the gym after a few weeks of on again off again. I wrote about a strange cramp I got in my foot and calf. I dismissed it, thinking it was because I hadn't been working out, hadn't stretch, hadn't drank enough water or maybe I just needed...

I am doing the best I can. Knees were a little sore all week, from too much bball on Sat. But I am still glad I can do it. That cat scratch fever is bad...my buddy Ted Nugent told me about it.

Right now you need to not worry about the gym, the muscle or even the wedding. Do all you can to help get YOU healed up from this stuff. Keep the water intake up and the protein high and listen to the docs. Best wishes to you Lisa.

I dunno. Guess I am hanging in there for all things considered. I'm just in another one of my "stick my ass out the window and sh!t on the world" moods. Busy day at work with nothing but problems, busy evening and don't know if I am going to make the gym or not. Bright side though, your getting better. :D

Thanks. Yes, did make it to the comcert. The girls went too, but wasn't much fun as they were miserable and making me the same. I know that sounds bad and wrong, but long stories. But, the concert was GREAT! and I did have a blast. On my feet the whole time, singing, screaming and what not. Read a couple of my blogs about the weekend. How have YOU been? Still trying to get some gym time in?

Got your blog comment from yesterday's entry. Yeah babygirl, timing is a B!TCH. I just have to deal. What I've been doing all my life is just dealing with IT, no matter what IT is. I got to change things somehow. Anyway, don't really know what they have. Both were just getting over a bad head cold, then this. Took daughter to Dr. Sat. and they said H1N1, but neither one have all of the "symptoms", so dunno. But they ain't good.
