How I Started:
I decided to try to lose weight when a bunch of my friends went out of the country for 6 weeks. My goal was to look different by the time they came back. In 6 weeks I lost about 15lbs and got more toned! I'm trying to increase my strength now so that I can be more toned, right now I'm thin but soft.
Why I Love It:
Working out clears my mind and helps me to get frustration out. Plus, it helps me to sleep better and to feel better all around. I just generally feel better about myself if I'm consistently working out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I go to work! Working for Bodybuilding.com has literally changed my life for the better. Before I worked here, I didn't ever exercise and ate out a lot. Now my main concern is my overall health, not necessarily how I look.
BB Accomplishments:
Me? Nah, I don't have a competitive bone in my body. :)

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
I really love using free weights, so the alternate hammer curls are one of my personal favorites. I also like concentration curls quite a bit...makes me feel buff...haha

One year ago today I started my 12-week transformation. I gained a good amount of weight after my transformation ended in January 2009, but I'm working on coming back down. Here are some ideas of my weight gain and loss:
November 2008: 128lbs
February 2009: 123 lbs
April 2009: 130...
