I decided to try to lose weight when a bunch of my friends went out of the country for 6 weeks. My goal was to look different by the time they came back. In 6 weeks I lost about 15lbs and got more toned!
I'm trying to increase my strength now so that I can be more toned, right now I'm thin but soft.
Why I Love It:
Working out clears my mind and helps me to get frustration out. Plus, it helps me to sleep better and to feel better all around. I just generally feel better about myself if I'm consistently working out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I go to work! Working for Bodybuilding.com has literally changed my life for the better. Before I worked here, I didn't ever exercise and ate out a lot. Now my main concern is my overall health, not necessarily how I look.
BB Accomplishments:
Me? Nah, I don't have a competitive bone in my body. :)
She sets goals and works incredibly hard to attain them. She communciates her goals, hard work, and even her setbacks to others--making her a real person! :) She's super sweet and has always encouraged me to attain my goals.
I heart you! :)
Look at her before and after pics! This woman is INCREDIBLE!!! She set her goals and is adamant about attaining them. She never makes excuses, she just gets it done.
She inspires me by how hard she works personally and the fact that even though she's getting hotter by the day---she still treats people well.
I really love using free weights, so the alternate hammer curls are one of my personal favorites. I also like concentration curls quite a bit...makes me feel buff...haha

What tricep workout has worked best for you?
I like the tricep pull down, but I'm still working on my posture.

What calf workout has worked best for you?
The weighted calf raise machine that I newly discovered at the gym. Make them burn!!
One year ago today I started my 12-week transformation. I gained a good amount of weight after my transformation ended in January 2009, but I'm working on coming back down. Here are some ideas of my weight gain and loss:
November 2008: 128lbs
February 2009: 123 lbs
April 2009: 130...
Yes, yes I could... however, you just dont add up to Matt. (and I say that in a very good way because if you did... and you know what I mean... then that would be WEIRD.... just sayin.) :)
I am such a good influence!! What have you been leaning towards? Silly pop, new wave, hip hop? I love it all. Except for glam hair metal. What the hell was that about?
