When I Started:
Jan, 2005
How I Started:
I hurt my back in 2001. I was depressed and gained about 50lbs.. When I got promoted to SGT in Jan 05 I decided that I was going to be a good NCO, and I couldn't do that while I was out of shape. I met with my Neurologist and some Physical Therapists, and we worked things out so I could get in the gym and lift, and start running again. Once we worked out the administrative side of things, I got started.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after a work out. I love the pump.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have to compete with Soldiers and NCO's younger than me everyday.. I stay motivated by telling myself that I have to be better than them. My girl keeps on my a$$ about getting in the gym when I feel lazy. Knowing that my girl thinks I'm sexy.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing the 50lbs of unhealty fat. Added 15lbs of muscle

If you were the greatest warrior that ever lived, came across a sleeping enemy and had six hours to plan one ultimate punch, this is the punch you would throw....
I wanted to get to 175, and I got there, then I wanted to get to 185 and I made that... Now I'm looking at going to 200lbs. Maybe I'll feel good there and stop and maintain.. Who knows..

Not since I've been in the Gym.. just since I've had a chance to sit and write anything.
I'm still in the process of finding a partner that is willing to lift with me, and can hang with me. Most are willing to try, but 3 or 4 workouts into it and they have something to do, or they are...
I think I keep my weight anywhere between 185-200. Now if I could keep some consistency then I would be in business....
