When I Started:
Oct, 2003
How I Started:
9 years ago I was 140lbs...at 6'1. I had played sports my whole life but never had any size at all. I was always the fast skinny dude. Honestly, I was tired of being little and wanted to do something about it. Once I got started, I was hooked. I changed my major to Exercise Science, got my PT certification from NASM and have loved every bit of it. It is now and always will be a huge part of my life.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because I love to see how far I can push myself. I love seeing my body change and the feeling I get after a great workout or a new personal best. I think it is one of the most personally rewarding things anyone can do for themselves.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a deep desire to keep pushing myself further. My family and friends are very supportive so that helps. But I really don't need any motivation. I am always hungry to get after it.
I have went back and forth on competing and I still don't know if I ever will. The bottom line is, I have a passion for training and pushing myself to new limits. I'll always have that intensity. If I can ever nail down a contest prep diet, then I might eventually compete. For now, I'm going to continue to bust my ass everyday and see where it may lead me.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I used to average 2min between sets but now I'm around 1 to 1:30. I'm more concerned with better conditioning and cutting right now. I still go heavy, just shorter rests.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
The dude from 300 looked good and Ryan Reynolds was shredded in Blade. I don't think I want any celebrities body though.
Description: The first time I have ever squatted 395. I've been working with a great friend of mine who is an experienced power lifter and his advice and knowledge has helped my squat and deadlift immensely.
First 405 lb Deadlift
Played: 138
Description: First time I deadlifted 405. I locked out my legs a tad early but what the hell, at least I pulled it!
So, I recently took about 3 months off from a consistent training schedule. I started a new career and moved as well. It was still no excuse. I haven't been on bodyspace in months and I apologize for not cofirming friend requests or responding to messages. I am now back into it and...
Doing my own thing right now.
6 days a week:
Monday-Chest/calves
Tuesday-Back /abs
Wednesday-OFF
Thursday-Shoulders/ abs
Friday-Arms/calves
Saturday-Legs
everything is going great. the leaning out is going good. still packing on the muscle. i think this is going to be the best summer yet! no shirts allowed! lol
how's it going man? I am on a huge diet! trying to get my waist down to 32 or 33 inches. I am around 36 now not sucking in. Also this dieting is making my arms and legs smaller, sucks! but I am trying to figure out a way to add size while losing my gut. its tough as hell
