I had a health teacher I met in 7th grade that taught me about eating healthy and lifting weights, but really just the basics. I knew him up to my Freshman year in highschool and then he left the school. I played lacrosse at the time and needed a way to get into shape for the season so I started lifting weights. I had been lifting weights since about 7th grade, but I began to take it more seriously when I started seeing changes in my body. Since my health teacher had left I had no way of getting info on lifting and nutrition so I bought a subscription to Flex, and then eventually that led me here. I quit lacrosse, and began competing in bodybuilding competitons. I plan to take this sport as far as I can naturally.
Why I Love It:
The changes you see in your body are amazing. The idea of being able to manipulate your diet and workout routine in order to shape your body into whatever you want it to be is why I love bodybuilding. Sometimes people dont realize how far you can push your genetics regardless of who you are.
How I Stay Motivated:
competitions. Im tired of being small. I have been small my entire life. This is a sport where the harder you work and the more dedicated you are, the more you get out of it. So simply wanting to get big is my motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
I won my divison in my first bodybuilding show on March 10th 2007. March 31st, 2007 I won the Teen class.

Good pump in biceps. Back workout was ok, but not amazing. First day of lifting in college. Good food on campus and easy to get. Going to cut back on carbs a bit to get bodyfat down but still bulk. More protein!
Current weight- 186lbs
LBM- 172.8lbs
Body Fat- 13.16%
dude that sux about ur finger man hope it gets better, yeah back homes going pretty good for me,the last 5 weeks i've been dieting,it's just the motivation that helps me get through it,hope everything in baylors going good for you bro God Bless-Gabe
Hey man you seem to know alot about dieting. I also have been a small dude all my life trying to get bigger. Can you suggest any diet plans to get me in order? Im about 165 17-20% bf. Goal is to be 170-180 12-14%. Something to recomp my body, or put on solid lbm?
hey bro!!!u look way better than me dead ass !!!i was 5'9 139 lmao so ya i at my last 1 i was 147 so im comen up im at 149today i have done 3 but bro how did u gain that weight help me out !!lmao
Looks like Im going to start re bulking again. I think Ill start carb cycling perhaps while intaking 4000 calories. 2-3x a week of cardio sounds good. Anything else I should add?
Ah. It's only been 2 weeks that I've been on it. No muscle has been lost yet I assure you. I wont let it happen lol. And Im more or less at 11% than 8..Ive got some way to go, because Im going rather slow regarding dropping weight. Im eating at like 26-2800 cals...and carb up days I eat 4k or so.
Well its not entirely keto. I eat less than 30g of carbs monday-friday, then I carb up from saturday-sunday to refill my gylcogen etc. Perhaps Ill look into it though. Thanks.
Currently Ive undergone a change in my diet, where as Im following a more Anabolic Diet/Keto approach. (60% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs) and it's going splendid! My energy levels are higher than ever and fat's been stripping off without much needed cardio. (i run 3-4x weekly. two 10 min hiit sessions.) It also seems like Im gaining some muscle as well :D
Lifting is going very good! I joined a gym in September so more things are accessible, yet I still stick to compounds first thing in my workout. As you know I was bulking in June, so I went from June-October 20th, went from 145 to 160@13% BF, and decided to undergo a mini cut for perhaps 1-2 months.
Yeah that's been my main goal thus far. I havent necessarilly been counting calories as anally as before , I just attempt to get in 6-8 meals (each being at around 500-600 cals each.) So each day Im intaking around 4-4500 calories. Work was hectic today..Gonna start packing my weight gainer considering I work in a busy restaraunt.
Ah I see, gluck with hitting 180. And nope...Im SO DAMN CLOSE! I weigh in every week unlike most people who weigh themselves everyday....This morning I hit approximately 157.2lbs...Im sooo close but I dont think I'm going to hit my goal due to the fact that I'm starting work today and I'll be working long houred shifts.. Almost though!
