How I Started:
I played basketball throughout high school but tore my ACL ligament in my knee. The doctor said it was either have surgery or leave the sport completely. Since I couldn't afford the surgery, I stopped playing and became depressed so I became a compulsive eater. I went from 165 pounds to my biggest ever a month ago...231!!!! Over 10 years I gained 66 pounds and fell into very bad eating habits. After years of feeling fat and miserable, I decided to take back my body and my health. I've been in training and dieting for a month now and feel awesome. It has been a long time since I felt this good. Mentally and physically I am ready to re-shape my body and be a overall healthy man.
Why I Love It:
I love the science and body manipulation. I look at body building as an art form. Plus, working out makes you feel good and keeps you in good shape.
How I Stay Motivated:
Everytime I hit the scale and see pounds dropping off the previous number.
I have been trying to lift and lose weight without fat burners, but I really want to tone up quick. The cardio has knocked pounds of fat off but I thought maybe a good fat burner would double the results. Maybe someone can give me some good advice on this!!!!
