How I Started:
I've always been pretty fit, having done track and field and other athletics through High School and College. Back in middle school when I was getting fitted for a suit, the guy fitting me called me 'Portly'... that stuck with me and I started to become very active through both high school and college. However, after college athletics were over, I started to gain a lot of weight, so I joined a gym.
Why I Love It:
Working out feels great. It also helps me to let out frustrations built up during the work-day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror and seeing that I'm no where near I used to be, and even farther from where I want to be. I wanna be able to feel great about myself and build up self-confidence, and I feel that maybe working out will help me attain that.
BB Accomplishments:
None. However if some genetic spark happens...ever, I will consider entering shows.

This is one of those 'get it when I can get it' programs. My schedule can be crazy, so for example, I only hit legs with weights once a week, but when I DO hit them, I hit them hard (not to mention a lot of running that tires them out as well).
Thanks for the message. Looking at your pictures, i see definite progress. You only weigh 4 lbs less between the first and the last, but it looks like you put on some good mass and dropped your bf %. Good work.
Awww thank u for the words of encouragement. So many people here, at my gym and fitness magazines I read inspire me everyday. When I'm feeling too lazy to go to the gym I'll sign on here or read an article in Oxygen and boom...I get my gym clothes on and GO!! lol. I know you will meet your goals. You have the right attitude!! :)
