When I Started:
Aug, 2003
How I Started:
After playing college baseball and having been in good shape most of my life, I ballooned up in weight. I let myself go completely after getting married and having children. When I finally had enough, I returned to the gym to get into shape. As I lost the weight, my physique seemed to look more and more like a bodybuilder. I decided to give it a shot, and was hooked after my first show.
Why I Love It:
There is no better feeling than the great sense of accomplishment after an outstanding workout. The same holds true for the sense of pride while standing on stage in the best shape of your life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am very goal oriented. I set goals constantly. After I achieve one, I set another. It is always a fresh set of goals to keep me moving forward.
BB Accomplishments:
2009 WNBF Pro American 3rd Place Lightweight

"If you want to do things others can't, you must be willing to do things others won't"
Thanks!! Right now my main goal is weight loss, so far so good. Good clean diet, light excersize, more sleep. Who knows, a couple of years I may see ya at the beach with my girls!!
Check my blogs and charts out now and then if you dont mind, anything you want to suggest I look foward to hearing. One thing I have learned in life is that if you want to do something, take advise from someone who has already achieved it.
You look great! I am new to it all, a friend got me started so I have a LOOOOONG way to go. 45 yrs old with family, been out of shape for some time now. Trying to ease into it all with small excercises. Would appreciate advice over time if you have any to give.
