How I Started:
i worked out usually for football or track season in high school and then just fell in love with it over time.
Why I Love It:
i love breaking down the barriers of what i thought was impossible for me to do and i like to try and keep myself healthy. its also a very good stress reliever.
How I Stay Motivated:
i stay motivated by listening to songs that hype me up, talking to other lifters, compliments i get, and the desire to never fail.

naNO Vapor ( just started last week) because it came recommended from a well respected friend and I tried it and loved the results

i tend to listen to my ipod because certain songs are instant motivation and I also look in the mirror to see where I am and think of what I have to do to get where I want to be
Yeah, bruh- you definitely don't want to rush into competition until you feel like you're ready. Training was going great until two days ago. Injured my lower back while doing deadlifts, so I'm gonna be out of the gym for a couple of weeks. Which is already making me grumpy and crazy and my lady will probably be homicidal before the week is out (lol.)

Man, you're reminding me of college when I used to walk to the other side of campus sometime between midnight and two in the morning to get a workout done. Those were back in the days when eating lasagna postworkout was a good thing.
Aww thx. Well my goal is to continue some moderate cardio. I also got the ok to continue with weight training of course no more 200+ lb deadlifts or benching my weight but I can add a moderate weight. I hope to stay toned and gain the minimum unnecessary weight during my pregnancy. How is ur training?
Man, multiple reps of 315 on your bench and 405 on your squats is a damn good start!! It's been going steady on my end. Trying to add an additional dime each week to all the exercises and keep the rep range between 6 and 15 (using the doggcrapp rest/pause method.) Getting close to maxing out most of the Hammer Strength equip in the gym- but it's forcing me to overload the muscle fibers, which is what I'm aiming for.
my training lately has been off the damn chain! pushing myself harder than i would normaly do. i tell you what i can both see and feel the improvements. just trying hard to be a big dude! i know you feel me on that! what you takin right now bro?
Been stacking it with the Leukic hardcore, so I'm not sure which of the two is kicking the most potency- but the pumps have been INSANE. So I'm sticking with the combo for the next two months. How's the powerlifting training going?
Keep bouncing between 242 and 245. 250 is where it's at bruh, congrats! I usually can't get past 250, but I'm gonna try to push it and crack the ceiling for the next couple of months and worry about definition afterwards. So far most of the gains seem to be muscle mass, but like you said- gotta stay on them abs- for real! It becomes sertious work to get it back once you tip over into "fatboy" territory. lol
I feel you about the abs,man! Since I been in this bulking phase I find myself doing ab work all the time, just to keep it under control (trying to crack 265-270 without developing a bubble gut) What's your training split?
LOL, or I'd just do that "Yeah, I'm like dividing this by half maneuver." Ok, its not that bad. My goal huh?
Well, I wrote a LONG blog post about it and I think its a good read even though it is pretty wordy. In short, 230 lbs, 7% bf, and the ability to run really fast, jump really high, and toss boulders. Well, 20 free handstand push-ups is in there too.
Yeah, I'm insane but somebody's gotta do it.
