Cheerleading try outs is what prompted me to get a membership at the gym. A few monthes into it I saw a pic of Monica Brant was so inspired and the rest is history!
Why I Love It:
Its always been an outlet for me, and it has always given me a feeling of accomplishment and strength.
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation comes from my dreams. I have so many! For every goal that I achieve in the fitness industry another is set, and it keeps me excited and going strong.
BB Accomplishments:
Every show that I've done is a major accomplishment..but I love winning lol. So I would have to say the local Gold's Gym show where I took 1st.

My dream and goal is to be The Figure Olympia Champion before the age of 30. Currently i am getting ready for my next big show. I've taken the judges advice and have been working on my weak points. The biggest thing for me is filling out my hamstrings and creating more of a capped shoulder. Putting on over all size has always been a challenge for me, But with the help of my wonderful fiance i feel very optimistic and excited about this off season!
okay so I've been really working on my hammies lately..so yea haven't done squats in a while. Yesterday I hit the squat rack, butt to the floor. Anyway Im at 125 for 8..pretty not good ha. So Im keeping everyone posted on my progress from this point on, mostly to keep pushing my self,...
Great profile Lauren. I am going to PM you where you can send some info to. We are heavily staffed for the Arnold with 18 people working that weekend. Thanks for your interest.
All the best for this season, lauren. It's great to see other females my age this serious about sport as well; it helps motivate me to continue bettering myself!

Hey sis I'm starting my Febuary-May transformation today.
Hey Lauren looking great. Good luck with ur next comp, I'm sure you'll do well. Try some one legged stiff legged deadlifts for hams they seem to have helped me add some mass to my hams.
Hey, Lauren . . . I have 14 spare pounds you can have right away and for absolutely FREE! :-)
Just kidding. You look fantastic already--you're really done a terrific job of getting and staying in shape. Best of luck on your goals for 2008 and beyond!
(Sorry - my original was too long)
Plus, make oatmeal in bulk once a week and freeze it in individual containers - 4 min. in the microwave is much easier to deal with when you wake up then trying to actually fix something from scratch. Tell him good luck and to keep at it.
Thanks for the nice comment. The diet is the toughest thing for me as well, but tell your fiance to stick with it. I don't really have any secrets, the key is just to force yourself to eat. If he needs to, he might want to set a timer to eat every two hours or so. The only other tricks I've learned are to buy raw almonds in bulk and keep them handy at your work and home so you can snack on those all the time.
