When I Started:
1997
How I Started:
My father has been a bodybuilding buff all his life. We had a gym at home and as a child I would spend hours watching my dad and his buddies pump iron, grunt like animals and sweat like pigs. I fell in love with it right away and have been doing it ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love everything related to bodybuilding. The way it makes me feel: healthy, energetic, confident and sexy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Over the years, I have programmed myself to remain motivated. On days that I feel tired and worn out, I kick myself in the ass and just do it!
BB Accomplishments:
In high school, I weighed 125 lbs and was a constant target for bullies. Although I defended myself fairly well and wasn't scared of most people, it played a huge toll on my self esteem and confidence. When I came of age, I started training and my body immediately responded to it. Now I weigh 182lbs, I'm lean and those bullies wouldn't dare take a shot at me now. My biggest accomplishment was overcoming my lack of confidence and building myself into a strong, responsible and motivated man.

Goal (Long):
In do not believe in weight or scales. They are tools of discouragement and are inacurrate. The human body fluctuates too much. The mirror is the best tool for judging your work and setting goals.
Hey man -- great background story. Great motivator for others out there with self-esteem issues. You look great. You've obsiously come a long way from the 125lbs skinny guy! Keep it up!
