When I Started: 1989
How I Started: Wanted to get away from the party scene and get healthy. Wanted to look like Cory Everson and Anja Langer.
Why I Love It: The sense of accomplishment after a workout, not to mention the high. The feeling of control over my physique, the amazing ability to transform my body through nutrition and training never ceases to awe me.
How I Stay Motivated: Training my clients motivates me, motivating others motivates me, reading about other female bodybuilders motivates me..when all else fails I call my trainer, Brian Thompson, and he always gives me a boost :)
BB Accomplishments: Getting on stage the first time was a major accomplishment :)

Goals:
Main Goal: Compete
Goal (Short): Get back to competitive shape!
Goal (Long): I have been on a 4-year hiatus due to illness and depression. My goal is to get back to competition shape, bigger and leaner than back then. I competed at a weight of 145 previously, I am hoping to come in around 155 - 160 this time around, and look more shredded.
Weight Goal: I want to LOSE 40 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 8%
Upcoming Contest: Northstar Bodybuilding Show, if lean enough..... April if not.

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
Alternating db curls and ez-bar curls. Once a week, heavy 3-4 sets each.

pressdowns and skull-crushers....once a week, heavy 3-4 sets each.

What calf workout has worked best for you?
Higher rep standing calves and seated calves. I have naturally big calves, so I don't work them too heavy. Once a week is good.
