When I Started:
Apr, 2009
How I Started:
Before I joined the Navy, I used to be in good shape; since I joined last year (Aug 2008) I have gotten away from my more healthy lifestyle. I recently came to realize that I need to make some changes and refocus myself towards improving my overall health and appearance.
Why I Love It:
Working out is a stress reliever for me and is a great place for me to think. As soon as I put my iPod on, I am in my own world and nothing can interrupt it. It's my own getaway.
How I Stay Motivated:
Since I am just beginning again, I am very motivated. I know in a couple weeks I will need the support of my friends and family to continue.
Trying to tone muscle and decrease body fat percentage. I realized I have hit rock bottom and the only place to go from here is up...
Goal (Long):
I was in good shape last summer when I was working out 6 days a week. I joined the Navy in August of 2008 and I got out of shape at boot camp because the workouts weren't nearly as challenging as I was accustomed to. I lost a lot of my strength and would like to get it back. I want to drop a couple dress sizes by summertime and want to feel confident in my bikini rather than being worried that I look overweight. I am ready to feel good about myself.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
25%

Ok, let me explain. We were very busy, running missions every day sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. But there was an Afghanistan Kite festival, and our PSD NCOIC decided we would make a kite and enter it into the kite festival. That whole kite thing was a forced "morale" boost mission. I'd rather eat your noodles!
Well I hope you have better days ahead. BTW GO NAVY!! Way to go rescuing our hostage. Send a message to these other countries....DON'T mess with the USA
Hi there Stephanie and welcome to Bodyspace. You have some fine pics displayed. Also, thank you for your courageous and dedicated service for our country. I also served in the Navy and PG War. Been to Itlay too. Best wishes, Scott
