There's nothing better than the enjoyment of a good workout. The benefits are numerous.
How I Stay Motivated:
Self-motivation is key. Cause when it comes down to it, no one cares as much as you do if you get that last rep in, or improve another 5 pounds that week.
I want to gain some mass, but more importantly get back to a competitive powerlifting strength.
Goal (Long):
Before the military I competed in powerlifting events in the 132lbs class. I slowly got to the top 10 after a couple of years. I joined the military 2 years ago and gained 35 pounds of muscle from metabolism starting to slow down and so forth. Yes, I am a hard gainer(ectomorph), and I would like to think I know what I am doing in the gym. However, I haven't been able to get to the bodyweight to strength ratio I used to be. My goal is to get back to that ratio.
New workout plan prescribed by my old powerlifting coach, whom I really trust.
Squat Thrust, Push up, Row, Squat, Press
