I was 50 lbs. overweight & tired of it. So I bought a weighted vest & a heart rate monitor and started walking. Then I joined the gym so I could get some cardio in w/out having to push a stroller :).
Why I Love It:
I love for my girls to see me doing it. So they will know it is just something you go do everyday.
How I Stay Motivated:
seeing progress. & thinking about how my little girls see me. I don't ever want them to know what it feels like to be fat. I need to be a better role model for them.

I want to lose 29 lbs. by Nov. 20, 08. I have been over weight the last 6 yrs. & I am so over it. I am very modivated when I see all of you muscular women who use to be in my shoes. I want to tone, tone, tone everything.

don't get down on yourself when you take progress pics.. trust me.. i have been there and been frustrated.. but you are losing and it takes some time.. just keep on pushing yourself and believe in you!
Awesome! I have had a ruff couple of months so I decided to try the Body For Life program. I do weight lifting 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week and Sundays are my "free" day. I eat whatever I want and rest. From things I have heard if you follow this program to a "T" You are soppose to get amazing resultd in just 12 weeks. So I am giving it a shot. I hope it works. Pretty good! Just joined a gym today finally. was doing all of my cardio outside so now I can get that and my lifting done in one place :D I'll be adding a ton of pics once this fat loss gets a rollin!
Oh-thanks girl! No, we were not hit too hard-just lots of trees down & lots of debris. The power came on last night after 5 days-I hope it's not too much longer for your family in Alvin-yes, they really took a beating!

will power on it's way!!! It is extremely hard to stay eating clean- especially when everybody wants to go out!! What I can say that has helped me a lot, is mind over body. Tell your mind you are going to stay eating clean and your body will follow. Good luck!
He refuses to leave unless we sell the house and I am not trying to leave something I've put alot of hardwork into for my kids because of it. You see he is not the father of my other two kids, he is the father of only one. So things have just been really crazy lately. I am so depressed and tired. There must be a better way.
Hello there, Things are not going better at all. I am in such a rough situation right now. I have to live with a man I despise because of how we own our house (tenancy in common).
trainin like a fool!!! lifting really heavy weights for about one more week then back to lighter and more reps for form. You better get after it..unless you do not think its worth it. of course. What is your plan for next week?

Good for you! Even if you slip up with the clean eating, just get back on the horse, and try again. Its OK to make a U turn, as soon as you miss the turn! I'm doing good, eating is going better than I expected, and today, I did something I never do, I worked out as soon as I got home! 43 min of hill climbing cardio. Woo Hoo!
