KLTexas Honestly, I've never had a problem w/bloating re: amino acids. My preferred supplement is Scivation Xtend-I take 2 scoops before/during my workout & 2 scoops for after my workout :) How is everything else going?? Apr 25, 2011 8:01pm

KLTexas That's great news! You will really see a difference with slight changes. I personally was having a hard time leaning out these last couple of months. I increased my cardio from 3.5 hours to 5 hours/week. It has made a huge difference :) Keep up w/those green veggies & try to keep the carrots to a minimum :) Apr 20, 2011 6:52am

KLTexas Are there any veggies you like? I'm not a big fan either so I keep the basics around like spinach & asparagus. I ate so many green beans during my last contest prep that I can hardly look at one. Fruit is fine but try to keep it to 2 pieces/day and early in the day-it's still sugar & will be stored as such if eaten later in the day. Apr 16, 2011 7:30am

KLTexas My advice on the supps is to keep it simple-regardless of the manufacturer. I recommend a multi-vitamin, BCAA's to help w/muscle recovery, whey protein for post workout meals if food isn't available & glutamine (also helps w/muscle function). Optimum & NOW are both very reputable manufacturers & I purchase a lot from both :) Apr 15, 2011 6:30am

KLTexas Great! Just keep "upping" your time as you can...I couldn't run from here to the mailbox before kids. I took it up after my 2nd child to help lose the weight & ran a half-marathon 2 years later! Apr 15, 2011 6:25am

KLTexas Yay-a pic of you! Well, the only true way to know if you are losing BF is to have it tested...usually with calipers. The bodyfat will tell you if you are keeping lean muscle mass while losing weight. Apr 13, 2011 8:49pm
