When I Started:
How I Started:
dad got me into sports at a very young age. i was swimming at age of 2, soccer at 5. he had me and my brother doing pushups, pullups, curls, and sit ups against each other by the age of 8. he had me bench pressing at 10 and i put up 140 lbs at 12 yrs. old to beat everyone in my class. he also taught us basic martial arts then enrolled us into classes at a young age. he has had me in almost every sport a kid could possibly compete in. i love him for that, and could never give him the thanks he deserves for it.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
i bet most people say deadlifts and squats, but personally ive had bad luck with the leg press. ive never been injured doing squats or deadlifts but twice on the leg press. once in my senior year in high school, one foot slipped up and off, the other down and under. the latter got split open and i could see bone. the second time was about 4 years ago i was rounding my back on the machine and going way to low and popped my back. still dont know what happened but ive had problems with it ever sincei bet most people say deadlifts and squats, but personally ive had bad luck with the leg press. ive never been injured doing squats or deadlifts but twice on the leg press. once in my senior year in h...more

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
make sure i got food in my stomach bout an hour prior to lifting. good nitric oxide product before i leave for the gym. some rock music on the stereo on my way to the gym. all that has to happen. but what seperates good lifting days from record breaking days is an ex-girlfriend that i think about and a song on my ipod "lil wayne, i feel like dying" that reminds me of her. its wierd i guess cause its not that she pisses me off, cause she doesnt, it just gets me in the zone and i break personal records with itmake sure i got food in my stomach bout an hour prior to lifting. good nitric oxide product before i leave for the gym. some rock music on the stereo on my way to the gym. all that has to happen. but ...more
so i was watchin a video someone was making fun of earlier because the guy lifting was grunting on every rep. sooooo what?! it iritated me because who cares what other people do in the gym. if it works for them then let them do it, dont make fun. maybe someone in the gym likes to listen to...
you are massive, man. great muscle development with nice definition. killer guns. and you have some bad ass tatts to boot. ihope to provide the great base for healthy living and physical determination to my sons that your dad gave you. very cool. sawyour pix, if you're still in Iraq-hope you make it home safe. big time respect for our military brothers--you're an inspiration in more ways than one.
awww, congrats!!! yah, a baby might keep you on your toes! haha. i've always wanted to do a triathalon, except i suck at swimming, ha. maybe one day i'll do a biathalon, if those even exist... good luck to you on that, though, i'm sure you'll do just great! :)
