How I Started:
I've been working out since the age of 14. A (bodybuilder) friend of mine introduced me to the sport. He took me to my first bodybuilding show where Lou Ferigno was the Guest Poser (1983). This is when I knew, working out was my calling. I was really shy at the time, but knew that I would one day be up there on stage competing.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel, Inside and out. (Mentally, Physically, and spiritually). It gives me confidence, relieves stress, and gives me the ability to challenge myself each and every day to reach new levels of performance ~Creating the body I deserve~
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by knowing there is always something more I can get out of it. Seeing the other Figure competitors out there, gives me more drive. I know that I can be up there with the best of them. I just have to keep my eyes on my goal every day and it is sure to happen.
Favorite Figure/Fitness/Bodybuilding competitiors:Gina Aliotti, Monica Brandt-Peckham, Gladys Portuguese, Rachel McLish, Flex Wheeler.(Just to name a few).I Dedicate myself to the power of CANI "Constant and Never Ending Improvement".

I honestly don't want to have a physique like anyone's but my own. I am working on constant and never ending improvement of my own physique. What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
I don't go to the gym for a fashion show. Im not one of these girls that gets all dolled up to workout. I'm pretty hardcore, Im in there for one purpose. What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
People who are there to socialize, pick up, not training hard, because they are just taking up space.

well atleast you made up your mind before blowing alot of money on this competition. just in travel and gettin my friends tickets, i've spent over $1000 not including the food an supps i've been on for these last few months. well good luck with your training and maybe i'll run into you at one of these competitions one day!!!
Hey, that's cool. Hopefully you'll be able to do it yourself? No I haven't done it yet. It's been crazy busy! I am planning on going this weekend for sure though! Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!

Good stuff! Building muscle is so much more pleasant than a cutting diet in a way. WOW, you are doing Nationals? Thats awesome!! My trainer is doing that one too!
LOL! thanks LB *blushing* no doubt that's the plan. I'm seriously thinking about kicking the diet into full gear and trying to compete. This site is so motivational proving age isn't even a factor. The week has been good and even better because it's a 4 day weekend. Hope you have a good 4th of July. TTYL :)
Yeah, I was able to finish all my requirements but picked up an unrelated job with movie lighting. I'll train a few people here and there, but not an actual gym job. I was thinking of going back to school next year and possibly applying part time at a gym then.
