When I Started: Oct, 2006
How I Started: Just decided to get healthy so I started doing what I thought was 'weight lifting.' Then I met someone who body builds, so I started training with him and started to learn what is needed...but really started focusing on actual bodybuilding in January 2007..
I am also considering taking up Muay Thai fighting for pro (right now I just do it for the fun of it)
Why I Love It: It makes me feel healthy, awake, and better about myself.
How I Stay Motivated: Stay healthy and to have that 'dream body.'

I dropped 4lbs so far for my comp on April 19th. I am hoping to drop another 10... hope it goes well. I love using Beverly International supplements, they are working great!

TIP: since you are hypothyroid: to lean out and lose weight remove all soy products from your diet. The Cookies & Cream Protein you use has soybean oil in it. I don't have a thyroid myself, TRUST me it makes a difference. Soy is an endocrine disruptor & absorbs the thyroid hormorne. It is still challenging to lower body fat but saw a change in 2 weeks of removing Soy from my diet. Hope this is helpful. I use the Goat Protein powder in Vanilla (has no soy in it). Good luck.

HEY KATIE SO WE BOTH HAD OUR FIRST SHOWS LOOKS LIKE YOU CAN IN GREAT NICE DEF IN THE BACK. I GOT A 3RD PLACE TROPHY WHICH WAS KOOL AND THE KOOLEST THINGS WAS I WAS JUST SHY OF A HUNDRED LBS WEIGHTLOSS!! AND LOOK FOR ME UNDER THE OVER 40 TRANSFORMATION OF THE WEEK. what you would do is send me your two piece and I would decorate it for you. Im starting off with designing suits, at a low price to get my name out there. Then I will start making and also designing them. I promise it will save you money and you'll love them. You can even send me pictures of ones you like and I can tweak them or I can custom design one for you. Nothing like a custom designed suit for a show!
