I got started when I was abotu 16 years old. My dad joined a Ballys up in my hometown. I became interested, and he let me sign up under him. If it wasn't for him initially signing up, I'm not sure how things would have else turned out.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it really puts me in a good mood. I consider it "me" time because it's for that one hour/hour and a half that I leave my cell phone in the car, and break away from the real world so to speak.
How I Stay Motivated:
By updating my iPod frequently, browsing BB.com all day long, reading about others' before/after stories, commiting to gym classes.
BB Accomplishments:
*Hired a great trainer and lost 14 pounds of body fat in 3 months.
*Update - 09/02/2008 : Accepted Body for Life challenge; will conclude on 11/25/2008.

This is the CLIMAX of my weight. Nearing 180 back in January. This is a picture of a picture, but still shows the nasty chunks.
I dont like it, I dont like it one bit. But it's the truth, and it's going to disappear.

Well my branch of Bally's is shutting down cause they lost their lease.. So, I'm going to another gym that's actually closer to my work, LA Fitness. I'm going to finish out the month wit my abs/glutes classes, but after I will be officially changing my home gym. It's pretty sad, like a memory....
How is your progress coming? Are you keeping up with your High Intensity Training/cardio/diet?
Fazer (who's Mouth want more, even if it's clean; who's body wants heavier, as long as I don't get hurt!)
Thats good to hear. Worked out on the weekend, good for you. My weekend was pretty good, I eat a little bad but I made up for it by running a couple of miles on the street. Where do you do yoga at?
I hate abs! Doing ab exercises are a necessary evil but unless you eat a healthy diet and lose the weight no matter how much you exercise your abs, you won't see them. Once the fat is gone then your hard toned abs will shine. So that said I do crunches, rev crunches, V-ups, knee ups and occassionally the ab machine. 4 sets of 15 to 25. Good luck!
Yeah, I had been taking Lipo 6 stacked w/ Yellow Bullet and aspirin. So I was really giving my heart a big kick every morning --- so now I have to live without ANY stimulants until the Doctors can figure out whats wrong.
I actually wasn't able to workout (or really eat for that matter) yesterday b/c I suffered a panic attack Monday night. At least, we think it might have been a panic attack. I had severe chest pain after running on the treadmill for an hour, so I had to spend most of yesterday having test after test after test. My mother had a genetic heart murmur so they think I might have one too. So now I'm limited to "light" cardio and no caffeine! Boooo!
