When I Started:
2008
How I Started:
I was always a chubby kid from the age of 9, was never very physically active, and was mostly a couch potato that loved junk food. By my senior year in high school I got really sick of feeling sorry for myself, and being made fun of, so I decided to start lifting. My initial program and diet left a lot to be desired, but I saw results none the less. This drove to really knuckle down a couple of years ago, and to start training a lot more seriously. Initially I trained for strength, but over the past year and a half I have started to train a more hypertrophy orientated regime. I want to achieve the best natural physique that I can.
Why I Love It:
Whats not to love?
How I Stay Motivated:
Addicted to the pump.
Constant self critique.
Wanting to achieve the best that I can with my body, naturally.
Positive feedback from my family and friends.
BB Accomplishments:
Went from 270lbs in senior year of hisgchool prior to ever having lifted any weights or playing any sport to where I am now.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
No plan as such. I bulk at 4500 kcal, I cut at 3500, and 3000 closer to competition. As long as I get macronutrient an micronutrient requirements in each day, the rest is just room to play with and enjoy some naugty foods.
Currently I AIM take in about 300 grams of protein, 400 - 450 grams of carbs, and 150 grams of fat in daily. Quite often I go over this, but providing I stay under 4500 kcal and over 4300 kcal I eat what I like. No plan as such. I bulk at 4500 kcal, I cut at 3500, and 3000 closer to competition. Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I track my diet with a nutrition log. My workouts I just track in my head.

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
Why not? It's good to talk about your hobby, and about where you are headed. It means I get constant encouragement from both family and friends.
Hi, it's really good for legs, even though I HATE taking out weight. Yesterday I did deadlifts and then bent over rolls and had to take weights out. It's worst for chest. I fell like crap... BUT I get really sore. I enjoy this part. As far as it comes I'm enjoying legs, chest, back, arms... Even calves. I'm still having some problems with shouders and trapz... I need to get 'em really sore. I've changed the workout so lets see what will happen.
very nice comp photos, best of luck in future shows. as to your question in the post, i want to bulk now for winter and then cut back down in the spring.
ps. how do you like no synthasize?
something's working for you man. i'm doing bi's & tri's on sep days to be able to hit 'em harder. i'm going to have to add close grip bench, dips, and cable overhead pull overs (I don't even know what this one is, so I'll look for a video to see how it's done).
thanks for the shout out. you're inspiring brother.
You, when trying to get contest ready, leave the numbers are at home. I just kept cutting until I had lines in my ass pretty much. Body fat and all that doesn't matter on stage you are just lean enough or not. Only place I used calipers was on my glutes, thats when the scale was not moving no more.
