How I Started:
Began running cross country the summer before my senior year of high school. I eventually injured my knee and decided to join Gold's to be able to stay in shape at a lower impact to my joints!
Why I Love It:
I love the energy I have all day long when I work out, and I love seeing changes in muscle tone. I feel healthier and stronger when I stick to my workout plan, not tired and lazy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read a lot of fashion and fitness magazines... there are a lot of in shape women to motivate me!! I realize there is a huge difference between being skinny and being healthy.
BB Accomplishments:
Being able to bench more than just the bar?? But really, learning that resistance training is more important for my goals than spending a few hours on a treadmill. I've learned to look forward to my resistance training (even if it means I have to be around all the stinky boys!
