Was interested in fitness and bodybuilding since I was a kid, but work and other matters kept me in the "recreational lifter" stage for a long time. When I hit my late 40s, realizing I was running out of time, I got serious to reach competition level...
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the personal challenge of improving myself physically while striving to maintain a healthy balance with all other aspects of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Hanging out with buds who are hardcore SERIOUS! And knowing the best is yet to come!
BB Accomplishments:
2nd in 2007 OCB Indiana Masters
3rd in 2007 OCB Indiana Novice Short Class
4th in short class, 40 and over Masters, ABA Natural Indiana, June 2005

Thanks Ken. I recently relocated to Louisville after being a life long NY'er. I haven't done any BB photography but you never know. I've thought about masters but I don't think I'm ready yet. Besides the rigors of competition might take the fun out of it all which is why I do it in the first place.
Cheers,
Joseph
I have been to a few of the shows in Indiana in the past and always thought they were good, they just never fell in line with when I was getting ready.
well it depends on if i can get any jobs or not .lol. i cant give up my job to do it right now.. but i can travel or take vacation time to get started.. i just need to find out if im gonna do any good at it... why you know some people or contacts ?

i was able to see abs now only in certain lights

Yeah, thanks for the info. I think I am gonna start looking into some natural competitions. I'm trying to pack on at least 10 lbs of lean first, but I might be ready by this fall
I'll certainly give it a go after June, when I have more time. I still can't believe that I could get back to "model shape" in less than a month. Muscle memory is a wonderful thing.
Well, another problem is, though, that I don't even speak Chinese. -_-
Yeah, well, I was scouted by several model agencies, in New York (Ford Models, nearly ten years ago) and in Paris; but in New York I didn't have a working permit and in Paris, I was just there for a couple of days. And now, in Taipei, there wouldn't be much a market for a white guy with (what is considered here) too much muscle mass. Aside from being Asian (duh!), the male models you see here nearly all have the "pretty boy" look.
Thank you, I am still trying to chisel away at the bodyfat, I must say though, I have lost some muscle mass and it is messing with me mentally, so I am just going to be careful about the whole calories in vs. calories out thing.
He gave me my macros, I wrote out the plan and he Ok'd it... Yeah I'm adjusting pretty decent to the change. I've been discussing with Layne, my fat intake. I have been having a hard time monitoring it and I don't think I have been getting enough. I think that staggard my progress during my bulk.
its held in struthers ohio..by youngstown ohio, about a hour drive from cleveland (where im from), i guess its a smaller show even though its a pro-qualifier.
Hey Ken,
I don't know if you looked at my profile lately, but I have lost 6lbs in 3 days of dieting. Hopefully this slows down or there will be nothing left of me in September (ha ha). I'm sure it will, everything is elevated when coming off a bulk. Hows your training going? I keep looking, but yet still no progress pics (lol). Have a good one...
Your picture is very cool!
You can find more pictures of me on my website, if you want, but nothing recent. Since I left New York, I have "lost" my photographers, and most of my interest in getting photographed. Also, because of too much country-hopping and not enough money, I could exercise for only one month last year. As for this year, I've only resumed less than one month ago. I got a lot of volume back in that little time, but I'm no longer quite as hard as I used to.
