How I Started:
It all started in the JROTC in high school, where I was in charge of the "Raider" team...the teams purpose was to compete in physical fitness tests and other military combat skill contests. All members had to be proficient at the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT)[consisting of 2 mins continuous pushups, 2 mins continuous situps a 2 mile individual run) and additional events as well (Pullups, v-sit stretch, 5 mile team run). It all continued in the army until I got hurt. After getting hurt in Iraq, I loved to test my body's limits with lifting to pass the time until I was processed out.
Why I Love It:
It's my escape...I love the natural high after an intense workout...
How I Stay Motivated:
My goals to pack on more size/mass to my small frame
BB Accomplishments:
48" chest and continual growth of my arms

What Is a Veteran?
A "Veteran" -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve-- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made
payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up
to, and including his life."
That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country
today, who no longer understand that fact.
Reduce BF% while packing on more lean mass continually
Goal (Long):
Its a continual thing. I want to lean out to around 15% BF (I'm not that concerned about a 6-pack) and keep packing on as much lean mass as I can for my frame.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
phase dependent as well.
Phase I: 30 sec - 1 min
Phase II: 1 min - 2 min
Phase III: 2 min - 3:30 min
This plan keeps adequate stress on the muscles to keep a load on, not get too relaxed, also helps prevent too much lactic acid buildup.phase dependent as well.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
Depends on the "phase" I'm in
Phase I: 12 RM for 1st set @ 4-1-0 tempo, remaining sets take to failure
Phase II: 9 RM for 1st set @ 2-1-0 tempo, remaining sets to failure

John, its been a while since I checked to see how you are doing. It looks like you are continuing to make some great progress in the area of cutting. Keep it up and post some new pics soon. I'm trying to cut myself and Nov and Dec aren't two of the best months to do it in but lets keep on trying.
Hey John, you are making some impressive progress - great job on the weight loss. You are huge and thick and massive. You are really going to be impressive by the end of your cut. Keep all the great work up!
Your pictures look great, you have impressive size and it looks like you have come back strong from the surgery. Keep up your hard work and keep posting your progress.
