How I Started:
I want a well defined body. I cant remember why I got started I just know this is what I want.
Why I Love It:
I used to have a nice rocking body. Nice abs.But then work took over and I sat at a desk all day.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read lots of Oxygen Magazines and I love to check out other women that are fit. My biggest role model in JNL - she is so hot. Mom's that are fit. People over 30 that have rocking bodies.

Goal (Long):
On December 31st, 2009 - I want to be no more than 145lbs and fit into a size 6! I want to have less than 17% body fat and I WANT TO SEE SOME ABS! I want to be able to run a 5K in 27 minutes. I will not have these same New Years resolutions as I had this year!!!!
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
I cut my calories way to low and didnt eat the right food.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
You will up and down days. days that you dont feel like working out or having a day when you need that bar of chocolate. as long as you get back on track for the next meal and give it your best at your workout you can accomplish your goals. I am so out of control and cant eat clean all day. I need help! Somebody help me get my A#$ straight again.. Why am I in the gym 2 hours a day when I eat S#$% all day???
I am sending out a mass comment to all of my mutual friends. I hope all of you are focused and keep on keepin on! With the upcoming holidays, we need to stay in check and look our best for friends and families. Good examples ya know? Stay ACTIVE! KT
You're welcome ! I do the same damn thing. I eat chicken and brown rice then eat cookies or fast food. But I'm on the road working by myself so I don't have many bad influences. It's all my fault. I do good for days at a time then screw up. Don't beat yourself up over it. We're human and we're still a lot healthier than if we didn't work out....
I also use cookbooks that have healthy recipes in them and use them when I cook. I love to cook and doing it that way keeps my love for cooking going, but allows me to eat right!!
I had the same problem when my old friend came to visit me from Colorado. Since they went back, I have watched what I eat and even my snacks are not bad. I still eat chips, but I limit the servings I eat. I have also started weighing my foods to get the proper servings. I have a nutrition pyramid on the refrigerator to keep me on track. It is hard since I do like certain foods. I make those foods my cheat foods on Saturdays. The rest of the time, I eat according to the pyramid.
I don't think you will lose too much as long as you keep lifting, it will help with the definition tho' and it has helped me hit the weights harder. So how do you break up your workouts
I want to reach 185 lbs, 7 to go and to finish my personal trainer course I am currently taking. The weight I am pretty sure I will make, the course will take some extra time to accomplish. But it is possible!!
