How I Started:
I always thought I was about the same size as a close relative. Maybe 5 lb over. Recently I was made to take a picture with her. It turns out according to the picture I am roughly over double her size.
Why I Love It:
I can tie my shoes without holding my breath!
My pants feel looser :)
I can go up stairs and still breathe normally when I get to the top!
How I Stay Motivated:
This forum. Everyone here helps me and the accountablility of publishing what I do.
BB Accomplishments:
I have given up pop, caffiene.
I have found I like healthy foods, they taste good.
I have increased my speed on the treadmill for fat burn from 1.8 mph to around 3.4 mph.
My resting heart rate has gone from about 87 to 65~yay
I can do the sidebend stretches without struggling. Easy Peasey~
I have almost maxed out the weight on the ab machine for bending forward.
On the day I started in the gym I could not use the stair stepper. It kept turning off on me every few seconds no matter how hard I tried. Today I went 5 minutes and it never turned off once, because I was able to keep up the minimum allowed speed!!!!
1-16-08 - I TOUCHED MY TOES TO MY FORWARD WHILE DOING MY STRETCHES!!! That has not happened since I was early 20s!
I ran at 5.0 on the treadmill for 2 minutes!

Same with dark shirt and dark pants ---This was taken about a month after I started working out. I have been doing good with food off and on at this point. 250 lb about.. started at about 248
1 1/4 scoops protien powder. 12 oz water. 3 oz milk. 2 tbsp ground or milled flax seed. 1/2 cup fruit of choice ( frozen preferred for the icee feel, but fresh works too). Purreed. Kills the thirst, the hunger, and starts makin the muscles all in one.

You sound like wife, (sweettartt.) Your doing things right and are bound for success! Don't compare your stats to a previously 320lb man. My body only allowed the ridiculous calorie deficit for the first 90 pounds then let me know it was time to eat like a human as I was no longer dangerously obese. You will make your goal!
Hi guys. Thanks for all the supporting comments! Sorry for the long wait on a response but I was sick on Sunday through Wednesday. Then Thursday I had to drive all over to take care of a sick relative. Today I had to travel for work. So the whole week has basically been a loss, I managed only 2 days of morning cardio before work this week. I plan to start back up full speed ahead on Monday!
Hey, thanks for the comment on my bblog. I'm looking forward to not hating wheelbarrows as well, aka, when I can do a single set without falling on my face 4 times.
Don't put too much stock in the BF% from the scale and for that matter, don't worry too much about the poundage numbers either.
Take your girth measurments and be amazed at the loss of inches over time.
