When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
I always thought I was about the same size as a close relative. Maybe 5 lb over. Recently I was made to take a picture with her. It turns out according to the picture I am roughly over double her size.(After 50 lb lost I am still 1 size larger than her! 16 vs 13 *sigh*) My fat eyes blinded me to the truth!
Why I Love It:
I can lift more than some guys now.
How I Stay Motivated:
This forum and RL friends.
BB Accomplishments:
Down 51.5 lb
From lvl 12 to 17 on the eliptical.
Sprints at 6.0 incline with 6.5 speed. Whooot, what a rush!
5-23-09 - 5.5 on the treadmill for 5 minutes solid, no break!
Bike level 3 up to average lvl 6-9
Leg extension was about 30 lb, now its about 90.
(3.7 miles on 6-8-09)(4.0 on 6-19-09) in 60 minutes on the treadmill.
Early July I lifted 150 lb with my back when doing ladders. My eyes grew bigger and bigger as I kept stepping it up 10 lb at a time to end at 150!!!!! OMG, whos the couch potato now? NOT ME! :)

Strategies:
Eat lots of veggies and lean protien
Throw out my biggest pair of jeans every time I hit 4 pairs that fit.
Keep well hydrated. Go for that gallon a day!
Drink Green tea and coffee all day long other than the last few hours before bed.
Keep calories under 1800 a day.
Do 60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week.
Do 30 minutes of weights 4-6 days a week.
I cannot even dare to dream that some day I could look as good as ChickenTuna. And I love how she is so blunt and straight forward about the process. Do the work and eat the nasty food and get results. Suck it up and just do it. I so need that kick in the butt some days.
Hi-How are you? It's good to hear that things are getting back on track. For sure the only that matters-is by getting right back on everytime it happens. As for me things are okay. My workout sessions are great, particularly the leg session, but I've always love to work on my. Am seeing little progress here and there;I've even lost 4lbs,so can't complain much. As soon as I can, I will post some pics.
how are you? nice to hear from you.I hear you on that plateau thing, but as long as you keep exercising, you will be ok. As for me, the plan is going great. I love the exercise routine, but the meal plan is hard for me to follow. I think I have put on some weight, but my clothes still fit and sometimes they are a bit looser. So I don't know if it is muscle mass or fat. In any case, I still have 8 more weeks to go, so will see...Talk to you later!
How are you miss? I hope everything is going great for you. As you know, am on Stevep's plan and it's going great, especially the exercise. Hope to hear from you soon!
Ciao!!!!
Hey, how are you? hopefully you will get better soon. I just purchased one of stevep78 plans. I need to be motivated again with something new. Hopefully it will do the trick for me. I can't wait to start this program. Get some good rest and feel better. Talk to you soon!
Hi,am happy to hear that. You are doing great and I bet it shows as well. It's always good to discover the strength we possess. Keep working hard and please do share cause it always motivates me. As for me I've been under the weather-worked only days this past week, but looking to get back to my routine.
Hey, how are you? Sorry for the late reply, just got back from vacation; had some sun and still managed to get some exercise in the morning. I posted some new pictures; there isn’t that much change except for a great tan…lol! About you freaking out, it happens sometimes; don’t let it stop you from reaching your goal. Forget about the scale; so far you’re doing well so don’t put too much stress on yourself.
Thanks for leaving such a nice message! It's nice to have this kind of forum for support especially when you don't have much in the real world! Goo dluck to you in your future goals!
