Started in '99 when I joined the military. In 2000 I had a motorcycle accident that left me with bilateral femur fractures ( 2 titanium rods & 6 screws. Naturally I stopped working out, but was able to continue my military service after being inspired by the movie "Men Of Honor". I couldn't do that much cardio which in turn "pudged" me out. I was content because I was thick , but then I realized that I need to get back in shape. 30 was approaching and I didn't want to have that body that most 30 and up soldiers have. So now I'm here doing the damn thing er' day!
Why I Love It:
Wouldnt say love, but I enjoy the lifestyle. Also to actually see your hard work pay off. We all have those days when we dread going in, but after the workout is complete the feeling of accomplishment is great!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Continue to press forward. It sucks sometimes when your down to that last set, 12 reps to go, and dont think you can finish or just don't want to. But then you look around and notice someone admiring your will to keep going, in turn motivating them to continue.
BB Accomplishments:
90lb flat bench increase in two weeks, and being able to post my gut on the net !

220 lbs 22% bodyfat. Thank You cheescake and pizza!!
Get to 10% body fat, and put some "ummph" on my chest!
Goal (Long):
Don't understand what the issue is. I was told lift heavier (did that) lift lighter (did that). Now I'm doing both . I've been doing pushups for 9 years so I should have something going, but I don't. By the time I redeploy, I want my chest sticking out from under my uniform (around March timeframe)
I'm out! Going back to the states for R&R. Get to see all my loved ones, enjoy my new King Size bed I have yet to sleep in, and don't have to worry about indirect fire LOL! All my fellow Soldiers insist that I won't keep up the same level of exercise that I have been doing out...
lol, sorry to hear that hun, hope you get better. I been out of the gym for about 4mths, just got in that i don' care faze. Now I'm back and kicking! lol
I second Sonic's comments brotha!!! Thank you for your service. Thank you for keeping us safe. Please know that many, many people appreciate you. You inspire me to keep working on reclaiming my body. Be blessed bro!
Sweet...thanks for the advice. I remember I was working with a trainer and I told him I wanted "small calves" like he had...ouch...he made me do 100s of calf raises...it's gonna hurt doing that high rep/set scheme again!
Thank you! Hope you are doing well over there. See, I complain about rain, but I guess some people don't get any. I'd give you some if I could! What kind of hip hop and R&B are you working out to?
Good good! I know it hurts like hell but you'll get what you want in to time;) Things are ok here, I've been sick so I haven't been able to gt to the gym in about a month now, but I still workout a lil when I feel ok round the house.
Thanks for the post on the blog. Some of your pics don't show too much. The one of your tri seems to be coming in real nice. If you had lifted the sleeve, I would have been able to see better. The same for your bi. I have to say, the NOX blog was hilarious!!! I know you all still pick on him for that! any way....best of luck to you out there and stay safe!
LMFAO, I told ya they would lol. It's not for everyone but at least you gave it a shot. Things are ok here, I'm not getting results I want. I see a lil dif, but the damned scale says other wise. Hope you stay safe, keep you the good work! I still think you damn good;)
