When I took one good look in the mirror at myself and I couldn't recognize that that was me.. My 2nd job is actually at a gym so I decided to start either when I leave my 1st job to work out before I start working my 2nd or work out on days I have off.. I was always an athlete.. In high school I ran track, played volleyball, I was a cheerleader and dancer.. Once those good old days were over and started working and college my weight crept up and up and up.. 2 relationships down the drain in those 5 years, and self esteem gone.. Well not anymore.. I’m completely focused 100% on my mission.. My goals will be accomplished !!!
Why I Love It:
Its a good stress release since I'm working 2 jobs and school so when I get that hour or 2 to myself I work that frustration out.. I feel its better to workout than eat a pint of ice cream!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
On the weekends I love to box.. Plus I didn't enjoy the first couple years in my 20's so its about time.. Also I joined bodybuilding.com because I love seeing people transform their bodies in healthy ways and I have it in me to do the same.. More body pics coming soon.. I'm a little shy plus I hate what it looks like but I promise there coming soon!!!
BB Accomplishments:
So far I have lost 3 pounds this week and I am really excited.. I feel good and much more to come!!!!

I'm not comfortable with this body that I've been hiding behind the smile because its not healthy.. Heart diease, strokes, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and heart attacks all run in my family.. I do not want to carry on that trait that is why it is time for a change!!!

I know how it is, I finally got back to working out today. After two weeks of relaxing it kicked my butt today. I couldn't even finish my whole session. I've got to get it together.
I hope you are ok, is it preventing you from working out? How did you tear it? Exercise Science sounds great, you can show them your before and after pics and be a great motivator. I currently have BS in Accounting but I can't do anything with it kinda frustrating. So I either will graduate with a 2nd BS in Psychology or finishing working on my MBA and start the business I've been trying to get off the ground, but with today's economy its hard.
I'm working on my MBA now and taking a Business Management class. I really want to get a 2nd Bachelors in Psychology so I can listen to people's problems. I do that now with my friends, lol. Great idea on incorporating your electives into your workouts. I just got back from Vegas and I ate horrible the whole weekend, I am scared to weigh myself, lol.
I can def. see progress, u r doing great dont give up - getting u r body into great shape takes time alot of time, dont get discouraged, keep up the hard work, and in the end it will def. pay off! u r looking awesome so far!
Congrats on getting out of the 190s, doesn't it feel great?! I have been doing bad with my eating lately and gained a pound but I'm back on track. Its so easy to slip up. Trying hard now to get out of the 180s which is going to be a challenge. I started school and its already driving me crazy, lol. Are you done with school for the summer?
Congrats on the weight loss, one more pound and you can say goodbye to the 190s. I swear when I got down to 190 it seemed like it took forever to get to 189 but I was so happy when I got to it.
