When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I got tired of being tired all the time. I got to the point where I couldn't walk around Walmart without sitting on a bench to rest, let alone in places like NYC or AC for vacay. My bf is a runner and is very fit and I was constantly begging him to slow down or let me sit down and I felt like a handicapped person. At this young age, I knew that was really bad. I've definitely upped my stamina so far, but I have a ways to go. I know I can do it, because now that instead of setting an arbitrary goal like "I want to lose weight", I have decided to choose what I want my body to look like. I want to be strong, fit, sexy, healthy, and confident:)
Why I Love It:
I love being a strong woman!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of women with the body I want and I read the motivational articles on this site.
BB Accomplishments:
20lbs lost since started on bodyspace!

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Elliptical because there is no impact when "running" and I can push myself really hard without hurting myself. Also at my weight, I burn calories like crazy: 10 calories per minute.

Do you monitor your heart rate while doing cardio?
My cruise is 8 weeks away and I'm not content with my progress. I wanted to be so much smaller by then. I wanted to be shopping in "normal" stores instead of plus-size stores by now. I have gotten down to size 18 pants and in some normal stores I can get into the XL shirts, but I am...
