Overall Goal: My fitness goal is to continue to refine and improve my physique so that I can be an example for others working toward a healthier lifestyle.
Fit Status:
My (sorta) new training and nutrition plan are working. Breastfeeding is also a big help with the calorie burn.
Motivation Level: 10/10

When I Started:
How I Started:
Late high school/early college - I went to the gym with my Dad. He showed me how to use some of the weight machines. I also attended the Step Aerobic classes. Now I give my Dad advice :)
Why I Love It:
First and foremost, training just makes me feel really good inside and out! I leave the gym glowing emotionally and physically.
Secondly, aside from "Mom", "Wife", and "Career Woman", training is my own, unique identity and time spent doing it is "my" time.
How I Stay Motivated:
There are several things that motivate me, but I'll narrow it down to a three:
1. I feel better about myself and manage stress better when I've had a good workout to start the day.
2. I want to set a good example for my son so he views exercise just as important as brushing your teeth.
3. I want my husband to be proud that his wife keeps in tip-top shape, and his friends ask if they can refer their wives to me for advice on how to do the same.
BB Accomplishments:
I really have no desire to compete at this point in my life, but I do want to make fitness my fulltime career. Up until my sophomore and junior years in college, I was not the fitness freak I am today. And as a child, I was considered "chubby". So the fact that people I know today never believe me when I say that is a huge accomplishment for me. I even started teaching group fitness and earned my Group Fitness Instructor certification through ACE. So my accomplishment are more around helping/influencing others by being an example.

My fitness goal is to continue to refine and improve my physique so that I can be an example for others working toward a healthier lifestyle.
Goal (Long):
I want to continuously improve and refine my body, including building more size in certain areas and leaning out in others. I also want to improve my overall fitness level and athleticism.
I also have goals to become more active in the fitness community to not only share my experiences and knowledge with other, but learn from others. My ultimate goal is to eventually ditch my current career in Information Technology and make helping others achieve their fitness goals my "official" and fulltime career.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 5 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
17%

I had mixed emotions about today’s planned workout. It was primarily a leg workout. I did it last week for the first time. And while it was challenging, I felt so good afterwards. So I was excited to do it again. However, the 3 leg exercises involved were far from my favorites. I admit...
Since becoming a mother (my son is now 2), getting to the gym every morning is a thing of the past. So I've learned to get very creative with working out in my garage. I have an elliptical, some dumbbells, bands, a stability ball, a medicine ball, jump rope, and punching bag. I also do...
Enjoyed some of your profile comments. Congrats on your goal setting and trying to promote a fitness lifestyle with your kids. My 4 year old is already into karate! Best of wishes to you in all you do. Nice to see someone talking positively about marriage and family! Blessings--Mark M
Hi, I was searching for people who like kickboxing. I am an avid recreational boxer myself. I have been doing it for just over a year. I was wondering if you could suggest some good warm up exercises or any video downloads you may have come across on hte net. Any suggestions would be awesome. I am really enjoying my stand right bag.
Hi
You look great beautiful woman! Where can I find a cheap place to kick a bag and spar? I'm tired of getting ripped off from MMA clubs. keep up the great work babe.

Thanks for the suggestions. Now that I take a good look at it, I probably could have left out the south beach bars (140 cal each) since I already had a protein (whey) and Carb (apple) source in those meals. Thanks for pointing that out for me.
Glad you are making progess and have gotten leaner. You getting more defined as well? I have to push myself to take new photos of myself and post them. So it hard for me also to get new photos!!!
