Yo Big Mike! Friggn Impressive, you are looking incredible. Sorry I havent been on lately, I had a couple of minor setbacks but I am back at it. You have such a great frame, its awesome to see you develop. Just awesome!

Jay you are looking great, you have made great progress this year! You have become a great motivator for me, glad to have you on my friends list. I am still lifting, my shoulder has healed pretty well. No longer doing benches, just dumbell work though. My work has been taking its toll on my knees lately so I have backed off heavy squats but my workouts are still doing great. Take care.

Hey Jay, looking impressive as usual. Yea I am back at it again, it has taken a few months of light lifting for my shoulder rehab. No heavy benches atm, just restructuring my workouts to work around the shoulder. Keep at it, you are looking insane, your wheels really have progressed since I last checked in on ya. Hey I see you are tearing it up. Looking impressive Jay! I had a minor set back, I tore my rotater cuff in an accident on the job. I had surgery about 2 weeks ago and am recovering nicely. No heavy lifting for me for a while though. I will be back hitting the gym lightly next week.

Hey Jay, Your av looks great, should be a shot for mens health magazine or something. Yea I have been hitting the cardio pretty hard, I have been running everyday and the LBs are coming off pretty quick. This morning was a cheat day so I had pancakes for breakfast. It is strange losing this weight, its playing tricks on my mind. I am so used to being in the 270 range- now I know I need to get down to about 230 before I start seeing some good results.

Thanks a lot for the comments. I too had a very bad back injury (fractured spine with fusion and harrington rods due to a motorcycle accident). Keep up the hard work and never give up.

I ran so long on the treadmill tonight I puked in the locker room. I made it a whopping 40 mins, oh man do I need work LOL. Cardio is pure torture.

Weighed myself at the docs yesterday, I am down to 255 from 270. Been a little distracted lately, my old schoolmate since I was in 1st grade is Sarah Palin. I have been interviewed by national reporters and crap the last few days. Its been crazy.. having someone that is a friend you grew up with being in the running for VP. Keep up the good work Jay, I will continue trying to catch up to ya :P

Ok Jay you are now my reason to start leaning out. I started cutting carbs, increasing cardio when I got back from my trip. You are my inspiration, your progress pics are motivation enough and your legs are really coming up quick. Its on like donkey kong! You serious about getting some ink on your back? I did not notice any tats on ya, in my opinion it compliments ones perosnality and physique if done right. Keep it, never surrender!

Yaaar! My gym just got a new Hammer Strength hack squat, I am stoked! I love Hacks, more sweep on the quads. If your waist gets any smaller your upper body is going to fall over. Looking good Jay, keep it up.

Hey I am glad you are on here. You have a great foundation for bodybuilding-weightlifting. You should see results real quick, do not hesitate asking questions around here, most people are pretty informative.

Hey thanks for the great comment. We have similar builds, you can tell you like working them wheels too. It is always great seeing other over 40s that kick butt in the gym.

Stick with it, be consistent and learn nutrition. You will reach your goals if you do this. Do not hesitate to ask questions on the forums, most the over 35 group are really friendly and are there to help you out.
