How I Started:
I started working out at about 13 years old. I worked for Gold's Gym as a trainer, owned my own gym. I let my self turn into a wreck. I was in a motorcycle accident and fractured my spine 4 years ago. I let myself go and now I am 280 LBS of fat with a little left over muscle under. It is time for me to take charge and get my health back.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding was always my anchor in life, growing up rough I always turned to weights as a release.
How I Stay Motivated:
Right now these forums are a life saver. My wife is great inspiration now as she has such a great physique. She used to compete.
I have to mention my doctor, as he scared the crap out of me.
BB Accomplishments:
Trainer of a few state champions, and some emerald cup competitors (years ago).
Looking back at this makes me cringe. Doc said if I did not do something I was going to have a heart attack and die. It was time for a major change in my life.
I am down to 255 lbs now. I have been increasing cardio.
I want to get more definition and better abs over the next 2 months.
Goal (Long):
I am going to transform my physique into what I used to be. I am not going to let anything stand in my way to achieve this. I am going to apply my prior knowledge and skills to achieve what I most desire, which is to be fit and healthy again.
I will only be satisfied when my body fat reaches at least 12 percent. I want to make my family realize the full potential of my drive and dedication. I want to make them proud of me.
Dunno if it is cause I am missing the wife, or cause I got some flu bug that hit me yesterday but I cant seem to sleep. Wife has been out of town for a week now and I am getting really stir crazy. The gym is keeping me sane and now I feel like shit with this bug, not sure if I can work out with...
