When I Started:
Jan, 2000
How I Started:
My brother Brian got me started. He was a fitness fanatic. He loved to work out and eat healthy. Brian is my inspiration.
My initial goal was overall fitness. Then I looked to lifting for help with anger management. I have PTSD and needed to take the edge off.
Why I Love It:
I love pushing the weight. I'm not huge or particularly strong, but I enjoy lifting immensely. I spent most of my life as a 98 pound weakling (hyperbole, but close enough). Now I look good, feel good, and am much more attractive to my wife.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just look at the positive effect that body building has had on my life. It is outstanding. My confidence and peace of mind are higher than ever.
BB Accomplishments:
Consistency.

Thanks! It feels good to at least look a little like I work out again. But like you, I'm in it for the long haul.
I wish that was my car! It's a '69 Camaro that GM allowed Reggie Jackson to make, special engine, etc.
