When I Started:
Jul, 2009
How I Started:
In 2003 I started working at a fitness club because I wanted to swim in their pool. There I learned about eating healthier and working out. Now it's just using what I know and sticking to it.
Why I Love It:
It de-stresses me and gives me the focus, confidence and control over myself that I need in order to push myself in other areas of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read articles online and watch videos of other people's success stories daily. It's like I absorb their motivation. Also keeping a food/exercise journal that keeps the reality of the situation in my face.
BB Accomplishments:
Baby steps I suppose... small accomplishments here and there. I am building to being consistent. I am getting there so I can't be too hard on myself.

This week I am starting to get up at 7am with the plan of slowly progressing to 6am. I got in about 25min of cardio this morning. Since I have been sleeping until 8:30am it's been a bit of a shock.
You are on your way and I believe that with your determination you will achieve all your fitness goals. I look forward to watching your continuing progress. Stay strong, focused and determined. Remember: “God didn't promise you a day without pain, laughter without sorrow or sun without rain. But He did promise you strength for the day, comfort for your tears and a light for your way.”
Thanks. My issues with sleep have actually improved over the past couple mths. Still have issues about once a week, occasionally twice, but that’s a lot less than I had been struggling with.
Your motivation level and being 'excited about working out' is a great thing. From there it can easily turn into an addiction that will serve you well. Good luck.
Kero, you CAN do it...Consistancy is the KEY....Training, Diet & Cardio. Stick with those and you will see a change.
Best of luck to you in all your goals..
Hey, how's it going? How was your week? I was on vacation and it was relaxing, but I didn't workout at all. I'll check the scale tomorrow to see what the damage is.
I'm gonna have to keep that candle in a protein bar idea in mind. Can't be doing that over-the-top choc cake thing too often. Not w/ my metabolism (*sigh*, sniffle, sniffle).
