Become a monster. Short term goal: 270-280lbs. Long term goal 320lbs.
Goal (Long):
I don't care about the "numbers." By numbers I mean how much I am benching, squatting, or deadlifting. I know that with time and taking appropriate measures these will gradually increase. The second I threw my numbers ego out the door was the day I started a long path of serious gains. I focus more than anything on form, and mental clarity, focus, and mind to muscle connection. I feel my workout is wasted if I cannot accomplish these things. Compound lifts with barbells, dumbbells, and very rare usage of cables or machines have greatly helped. Eating 10-12 meals a day - clean ones too has helped incredibly. This lifestyle accompanied with my investment financial occupation, a love for studying dieting, nutrition, exercise, and stock and bond analysis, grad school at nights, is the culmination of what I consider a life I am most blessed to lead. I find that the bodybuilding aspect of my life is best described by the quote below.
"Bodybuilding has definitely instilled a sense of discipline, focus, determination, and patience in my life." - Mat Duvall, IFBB Pro
