Visiting bodybuilding's articles I found some interesting ones on plyometrics exercises.
Plyos are great to enhance power, in this is a main issue in martial arts. So I read much in the subject, remember a book I've bought years ago from Health for Life on the subject. Next step was to...
Same thing the guy after me said. I am a nother kenpo student from northern VT. Currently working on the material for my 4th dan. Came up under some valari dudes in college and got my first 2 dans under joe lemitena "TOKEYO" in nashua NH. Would love to talk training as I currently train in my basement, at a colleg gym, and drive to NH to learn new material.
Keep up the good fight!!
I see the Villari patch, and on your photo with the 8th dan promoting you, the Cerio patch that Professor Chow designed for him. Would love to chat about your current affiliations and kempo experience/lineage. PM if you like.
Hey Serge,
I saw your post related to martial arts and body building. Interesting info, that I'd like to learn more about. I'm pretty good sized (as you can see in my profile), and am just now beginning to learn Karate with my son. The form we study can be found at www.ikl.org
I'd love to "chat" with you about what you believe is a good balance between weights and Karate - including workouts. PM me if you're intested in talking.
