Began workouts out of frustration with being a poor athlete. Began judging as a result of amateur photography work being noticed by NPC District chairman and being recruited to judge.
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing new competitors develop and reach their goals.
BB Accomplishments:
NPC judge since 1984, NPC national level judge since 1989, IFBB pro division judge since 1990. Also have gone to 5 IFBB amateur world championships as U.S. delegate and judge.

Jessie got blasted as a result of the producers of BB10 slanting the editing of the footage to portray Jessie as unfriendly and judgmental. The truth being that he refused to compromise his health by giving up diet, workouts, and proper rest for the sake of a reality show. His real commitment to health and fitness in the face of character assassination is an inspiration for many.
A phenomenal physique that could easily win competitions, on a hard working engineering student with the good sense to say that he has achieved the physique he has aspired to and can keep all his activities in perspective.
Why I like this video: JamerJay's newest video, January 2008 -- awesome both physically and artistically.
Bodybuilder Dennis Newman 1993 USA
Played: 180
Why I like this video: Dennis at the NPC USA, July 1993, finishing 6th. Wins the following year just 4 weeks before hospitalization with extremely advanced leukemia. Alive, fit, and doing well today.
Golds Gym Venice Beach Preview
Played: 307
Why I like this video: JamerJay with another preview of working out at Gold's Venice.
Finalizing arrangements to head for the IFBB Men's Amateur World Championships in Doha, Qatar Nov 1 - 5. A bit later will go to the NPC Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale Nov 19 - 21.
Hey Ken thanks for being my new friend on here. You have been around the sport for a long time that is awesome!! Great profile pic as well
Best Wishes,
Vinny
I never knew Team Universe was a tested show. Hmmm, either way, I still want to stay away from the NPC/IFBB because I really have no desire to go "the other route." Plus competing in tested bodybuilding shows will prove some of the haters that I have wrong, lol! Still tweaking a few things and improving on my conditioning at the moment. Look forward to my progress at the end of the month.
I really appreciate it Kent. Which organizations do you usually judge for? I've been thinking about stepping on stage next year but it's undecided. Just love living the lifestyle at the moment.
I'm currently following a similar approach to training like Ascent81 and Timberwolf. I'm trying to stay or remain this lean and gain slow but steady new muscle. Currently i feel good with this but i will evaluate this in a few months. Thanks for your message again here, i really appreciate it! Greetz
Hey Ken! Gonna start dieting sometime this month for Greece and a pontential BB show. No more pizza I guess for a while!! I hope everything is going well for you sir. Keep me posted....
I'm now trying to stay very lean and gain if possible. In the future i would like to gain an extra 10 lb with the same BF i have now. (this could take a while)
Thanks again for help here, i wish you all the best!
Greetz
Thanks for your advice here, i really appreciate it. I realise that i made my beginner gains and everything is slowing down. I have a hard time tough finding a good diet regime where i can gain slowly. I also still live at home so i can't eat everything i would like to (parents aren't very positive about working out).
Hey Buddy, Yeah i know really gutted! But hey onwards and upwards, i'm actually going to give this fitness modelling malarky a good shot by the end of the summer! Hope you are well, Will :-)
Well have fun in Vegas! I'll be starting my diet in May. Shooting for 8 weeks of solid dieting. Should be enough eh? I just want to pack on as much size as possible and come in at a large 175. But at 6 ft tall, It seems almost impossible. Part of me feels like going up a weight class would be a disadvantage....
That's a good take on it.There was a question on here about who you would want to look like.I don't want to have anybody else's body I like what I am building here.thanks for the pointers!
Diet is always the tough part.Working on getting back down to singles again. Was considering entering a natural show in a year or two just for kicks. The condition of some of these people is unbelieveable.
Oh yeah, I will reach higher the guy who beat me in the novice overall only beat me by 1 point I guess so I got some work to do and work on the weaker points so I can reach these goals! Thanks for the inspiration and comments Ken it really means alot!
Well Ken I went and competed in the NPC show Saturday and took 1st place in the novice heavyweight and 3rd place in the open light heavyweight it was fun, what made it better is I am natural! I got the Utah competition NGA show in 2 weeks hope I do good, I will keep ya posted.
